The books are finished and the cold is healed (mine, at least). So, here's a little bit of what the fam has been up to!
We had such a nice day 2 weekends ago with the Taibls and Jann out in Gig Harbor.(Emily...you need to start a blog!!) The boys had a great time playing with each other.
The big boys loved the Puyallup Fair this year. Steve and I loved watching them enjoy the rides and yummy treats, but it was a little too hectic and crazy for our taste. Pushing a double stroller through huge crowds of people is only fun for so long...
Rylan and Kaden have been going along for twice weekly walks with Mommy and Jess & Hailey. It's been so nice walking and talking with Jess about babies, Young Life and normal life. And we're only a little embarrassed to be some of many "mall walkers" here in Federal Way when the weather is bad. :)

Young Life and MOPS are also in full swing now. It's so nice to have a nice long summer break, but I didn't realize how much I had missed these things until we were back in the routine again! I love doing YL with Steve...it's so nice to partner in something significant apart from our kids. And MOPS...this is one of the most life-giving experiences that I've been a part of since becoming a mom. I can't say enough about how much I love this group!
Steve also planned an amazing birthday weekend for me last weekend. He surprised me with a great getaway overnight in Bellevue, including some of my very favorite things: friends, chocolate, wine, coffee, sleeping through the night, and relaxing. It was SUCH a gift! One night away felt like a week's worth of vacation. It was amazing.

MALL WALKING RULES!!! :)
This makes me wish we had kids - I would love to hang out with you and Jess...even if it involves walking at the mall!
