Zachary's last day of school is tomorrow. He has had such a wonderful experience at his preschool--we really couldn't have asked for a better year. Before the school year started we prayed and prayed for Zachary to have one little best friend and God answered that prayer and blessed Zachary with his best little buddy, Lorrin. (She is the cutest little doll face!)
Today when I picked up Zachary his teacher pulled me aside and told me that the kids were answering the question, "Who was your favorite friend in preschool?" for a little end of the year memory book. She told me that every kid in class answered "Zachary" as their best friend! I just teared up immediately when she shared that with me. Zachary loves being around people so much and to hear that he has made a special connection with each kid in his class is really touching to us. He's doing Young Life in pre-school! It's in his blood, I guess!

Zachary and Daddy at the Parent's Tea last week.
Tonight we headed to Kindergarten Round-Up at the elementary school where Zachary got to tour the classrooms, meet the teachers and see where he will be going to school next year. We are so, so thrilled about the school that he will go to next year. (Lorrin is also going to the same school which is all that really matters to him!) Just 1 hour there tonight exceeded my expectations. We are thrilled with the opportunity to be there next year!
These are the going-away cards that Zachary made for his teacher, his teacher's aide, his "snack helper" and the pre-school director. I'm telling you...he is literally the sweetest kid!

Okay, that made me tear up too! How sweet...you guys have raised some great kids, Jenny! :)
I love all of your boys...they are so sweet!
You are a great loving mother, boys are so lovable (most of the time)...do you remember your kindergarten, CA. right?
I'm teary-eyed, as well! What a sweetheart! I have to say, I'm not surprised, though... you're right, it's in his blood to be a people lover... your boys have two fantastic role models :o)
