My Great-Grandma passed away last night at 90 years old. She lived a long, wonderful, full life. Our boys marked 5 generations on this side of the family. I feel incredibly blessed that they had the opportunity to know their great, great grandma.
I was thinking this morning about how I can remember exactly what her hands looked like. She would always grab both sides of our faces with her wrinkly, soft hands and pull us in for a nice big smooch on the lips every time we would see her. She loved getting and giving kisses, especially from the "handsome" men in the family. (She had quite the crush on my dad and Steve...) She always made us laugh with her silly spunk and spirit.
We're really going to miss her a lot.

I was just telling Jay that never have a met a spunkier 91 year old woman than your great grandma...even when we saw her in the hospital she was quick to let out jokes. We enjoyed her and I'm glad I got to know her. I'll be praying for your whole fam..what a month for you guys!!

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandma, but what a blessing to have her around this long for your boys to experience her.
