I Hope We Don't Regret This...

Kaden had a visit from the Binky Fairy last night. (Have you seen her around town? She's about 5'2", darn brown hair...) She took his binkies right out of his mouth and replaced them with a toy. Kaden has been awaiting her visit for a while now and was so excited when he got the note this morning. He now thinks his binkies are "in the sky" so he can't ask Mom or Dad for them when the going gets tough!

The real test came today when he went down for a nap.
He didn't sleep.
He didn't scream for binkies.
He did, however, sing at the top of his lungs for 2 hours:
"Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh..."
Oh well. One battle at a time.

At least he's got good taste in music!

Oh my gosh Jenny! That is too funny. (I love that idea, by the way.) It's also funny because Kaden sounds a lot like my Emily. Your mom was just saying today that we should be careful about putting the two of them together because who knows what they would come up with. ~ Shirley

P.S. Don't feel bad, Emily likes that song too. ;o)

love that story! so funny... Kaden is more into today's culture of music than I am...and I do youth ministry for a job.

How old is Kaden? We need to have a Paci Fairy come and take Thomas's pacis away. Hmmm... that's a thought. These boys sound like they are in such similar stages!
