I had an incredible weekend up at Malibu YL camp this past weekend. I had the opportunity to go with some high school girls that are really special to me and other leaders from our area that are just awesome. It was a powerful weekend and we came home yesterday encouraged, exhausted and challenged!
Steve was with the boys all weekend and had a good time having lots and lots of "boy time." Not only did I come home to 3 sleeping, healthy, clean children tucked tightly in bed, but also a spotless house! (He's amazing...) He said he had a great weekend, although he seemed a little more eager than usual to be off to work this morning! :)
On a side note...I have decided that I will no longer be complaining about my boys' messy rooms or our three bathrooms that always need spot cleaning from little boys that don't have a great aim. Here's the truth--little boy messes are no match for those made by teenage girls! Between the floor being covered in millions of clothes and literally the grosest bathroom you've ever stepped foot into, I was sure thankful to come home to "mostly clean" bathrooms and floors covered in legos and hot wheels. I can handle that much better!

Hi Jenny!
It is Christy Schwenke.
I found your Blog on the Tremper Blog.
Fun to see photos of Malibu. Was it discipleship weekend?
I LOVE the photo of the messy cabin! I have never thought to take a photo of that...but it looks all too familiar!
Hope all is well.
What is your assignment this summer?
Check out my blog. :)
What a fun weekend it was... :)
