The boys were super excited to dress up like Pirates for Halloween.
We had a great laid-back, "Pirate-themed" night as a family.
We ate dinner with our hands (pizza),
went pillaging the neighborhood for candy (trick-or-treating),
and then came home, put on our snuggliest jammies, and snuggled up on Mommy and Daddy's bed and watched The Pirates That Don't Do Anything.
Kaden was in character all night, "Arrrring" every chance he got.
Zachary insisted that he was the captain. "The captain is the boss," he told us all night.
Rylan thought it was the best being able to finally do things his brothers do.

Last week we decorated our pumpkins. It was so exciting because we actually grew our very own pumpkins this year! We were all so proud! Zachary cut out his pumpkin all by himself and Silly Goose Kaden insisted that his jack-o-lantern be upside down. Every time he looked at his pumpkin throughout the last week he would just crack up. Such a silly boy!

Yes, they are adorable!! We grew our own pumpkins this year too, so fun; we even brought 2 of them to TX!
Super cute jenny!
Those are the cutest (but tell the boys I said scariest) pirates I've ever seen!! :)
How adorable!! I love dressing the boys alike-I will have to use the pirate idea some day when they get bigger! You are such a cool mom, jenny!
Those are some awesome pirates! Sounds like you had a lot fun -- great idea making it a theme night.
