We continue to have a great time down here at camp. The weather has been a little unbearable the last few days, with temperatures way over 100 degrees. I know it's been hot back home too, so we are very thankful to be here where we can swim all day!
Zachary is loving life. There are two other 5-year-old boys that he plays with a lot. In fact, he's been gone the last 2 hours playing with his little buddy while Kaden and I napped. What a great morning! Kaden has turned into a crazy child since we've been here! Now that he can walk so well, he cannot handle being contained so he SCREAMS at the top of his lungs. It's seriously driving me crazy. In between the screaming, he is learning a few new words. His latest words are apple, cracker, water and "whoa" (he's learned this because he's still a little unsteady at times and everyone around him says, "Whoa, Kaden!") He says Mommy and Daddy perfectly now, which is really fun to hear.
A new group of campers just arrived yesterday. It's a much smaller camp this week. Steve hasn't had to deal with much drama since we've been here-which I guess is good-but he was hoping for a little more action! :) This place is really amazing. You could not dream of a better place for teenagers to be. It's so neat for kids to just be spoiled and served during this week of camp and we're so blessed that our kids get to grow up with summer experiences like these!
